Jean Royere

Meticulously hand-crafted furniture that is produced exclusively in France

The vision to create the company Royère was born in 2018, with the aim of honoring and continuing the remarkable and now iconic work of the late designer Jean Royère.

The Problem

Several years after Maison Royère launched, the team behind the company felt that their website and brand no longer reflected the future direction and company expansion plans. As part of the rebranding process in 2024, Maison Royère decided to start trading under the name Royère. Along with the rebrand, Royère needed a new website that offered them more than what their existing Squarespace website could. They wanted a custom solution that gave them the flexibility and freedom to create a unique and inspiring website. A website that truly honored the late Jean Royère and showcased the best of the Royère range.

The Solution

Royère partnered with DesignQ to deliver a website that addressed all their requirements whilst ensuring the website loaded fast and was mobile-friendly (responsive). Working with a tight deadline that coincided with the opening of their Gallery Royère in New York, DesignQ was able to develop a solution using the Nuxt.js framework with Vue.js frontend. This allowed us to develop, test and deploy at a rapid pace ensuring the deadline was met. Using a progressive framework like Nuxt.js also ensures the future scalability of the website.

Since going live with a new website, their website traffic and catalogue requests have increased substantially. Royère was very pleased with the overall outcome.
